For those of you unfamiliar with cloth diapers, Pocket diapers have a waterproof outer and usually a stay-dry inner, with a hole in the top (or a “pocket”) into which you can insert the absorbent material of your choice.

All in One diapers are a lot like disposables in the sense that they contain everything in one piece. Waterproof outer, absorbent material, usually a stay-dry inner. (not always, though. These, for example, have just flannel inside.)

The pocket diapers are all very similar. I used suedecloth on the inside for a stay-dry feeling, and various laminated fabrics on the outside (including baby corduroy, the black one). The All in Ones are fun. The skull and crossbones was put on with a freezer paper stencil (note for next time: don’t be so afraid of the iron). The other two are Minkee on the outside.
