Hello! I’m delurking! Actually, this is my first visit to your website, so I haven’t been lurking all that long.
I just happened upon this blog and have really enjoyed looking at your other pages and shops. As a beginner sewer (as in “I started making my first item–a tote bag–last summer, but then the thread-bobbin thingy went all wonky and I don’t know how to fix it”), I love seeing your sewn items, especially those suitable for toddlers.
We are a sling-using, cloth-diapering family, too, and my daughter just got her first doll. I figure it’s only a matter of time before she’s interested in having a sling (and maybe diapers!) for it, too, so I’m sure I’ll be back here!

Marsha - do you have a sewing store near you that offers beginning lessons? Or community education through the schools? Those can be a great place to get help with things like why the bobbin gets wonky.
Julie - well, one time, we hit the drive through for chicken nuggets and they gave us frozen ones, which meant that I had to circle back around to the McD’s, park, get out, get the kid out, etc., all in freezing weather…driving through the actual restaurant would have been a wee bit satisfying, really. LOL.

Love your page Sarah! I thought putting up a recipe was a good idea. Here’s my daughter’s favorite meal.
Easy Mac and Cheese
1 1/3 cup whole wheat macaroni noodles -cooked
In small sauce pan on med melt 2 Tbsp butter
Add 2 Tbsp flour and whisk
Slowly add 1 cup milk
Add 1 cup grated cheddar cheese and stir till melted
Try sneaking in some spinach too, if your kids don’t pick it out.
Mix with noodles and enjoy!
